Sarah Michal Hamid

Sarah is currently an undergrad at University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, studying Women’s Studies and Global Sustainable Development. On the Strategic Monitoring and Resilience Training in the Ala Wai Watershed, better known as SMART Ala Wai, she is involved with the water quality and sensor efforts, and interacting with 7-12th grade teachers, students, and also helping with web-based content. With a background in Community Outreach & Conservation, she hopes to help join the wonderful array of talented researchers as well as community members, to ensure a resilient and vibrant community rooted in sustainability and malama ‘aina!
